We took drinks in with no probs, there was even some good advice on here about putting a frozen water bottle in your backpack to keep your back cool as you walk about.

We have been for the last four years and have always took bottles of water or squash in within us and never had a problem.

Each park has it's own rules. At Disney you can take pretty much anything as long as it's in a plastic bottle, juice box, or can. No glass allowed. (No alcohol, either.)

I've seen people stopped from taking anything more than a single sealed water bottle into Universal. I can't remember Sea World.

If Seaworld in Orlando is anything like San Antonio, rule wise, then you cannot take anything in with you. However, when we went 3 years ago(SA)you could ask any of the vendors that sold drinks for free ice water. And yes, I asked and received it.
