Dancing at Disney World

Is there any ballroom dancing at DW? My wife and I do foxtrot, rhumba, swing, Argentine Tango, and if there is dancing, we'd plan to go there.

No dancing that I can think of! But if the music is right and you feel the need go ahead and dance!!!

About the only venue where any dancing is still done on Disney property is the Atlantic Dancehall at the Boardwalk area, but don't believe they do ballroom dancing there.

Yes! Go to the Grand Floridian resort, every day between 4:00 and 10:00 PM. They have a full orchestra, that plays beautiful music and takes requests. Many people dance in the lobby. The first floor is carpeted, but the second floor is marble and great for ballroom dancing.

The orchestra and a pianist take turns playing in 30 minute segments, throughout the evening. While the piaist is playing, you can have afternoon tea in the Garden Lounge, on the 1st floor, or a cocktail at Mizner's, on the 2nd floor.

Our family has been dancing at the Grand, for the last 10 years. It's an important part of our Disney trips.

Enjoy!

the dancehall at boardwalk has one of better dance floors anywhere. It is worth the visit even if no ball room is on the agenda.
