Walk in lunch/dinner for Non Resident at Disney

I understand as a non resident you can use Disney Hotels to have meal.

If i am correct, which one would you reccomend and why.

I presume you contact the hotel to book a table? or is there online booking.

Would like to take wife for a meal to add to the Magic.

Any help would be appreciated as we fly next week for a week so will only be able to fit 1 visit in.

Thanks

Anyone can dine at a Disney resort :-)

Here are the menus:

You can book online here:

…go.com/reservations/dining/

or call:

In the resorts I love Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a great restaurant and the Lodge is wonderful to visit. If you're in the mood for Indian (well, Indian "inspired) there's also Sanaa. I believe Sanaa has savannah views. Good selection of African wines.

Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge is also very tasty. I love the mushroom soup, salmon and berry cobbler. NIce winelist from the Pacific Northwest.

Bon Appetit!

Thanks left it to late for character meals, but managed to book Cape May for a seafood buffet at Beach Resort.

I really like the buffet at Cape May and I'm sure you will enjoy it too. After dinner talk a walk around the resort and go over to the Broadwalk Resort. It really is so pretty at night. Enjoy!

We went to the cape may buffet last time and did not like it at all. I know everybody on here seems to like it but there were 9 of us (several who will eat anything and nobody like it). We liked the big river grille on the boardwalk.

Narcoossee's or Citricos, at the Grand Floridian. Stop in the lobby for a cocktail, while you listen to the orchestra and pianist. Watch the fireworks from the GF boat dock or Narcoossee's deck. A wonderful evening for adults!

I'm with Princess41. Cape May Cafe clam bake, is very so-so. If you prefer to be in the Boardwalk area, I would try Yachtsman Steakhouse or Flying Fish Cafe. Both are excellent. If everything is booked, Big River Grille at Boardwalk has good food and does not take reservations. Stop into Jelly Rolls, after dinner, for dueling piano sing-alongs. Great fun!

Happy planning!

Changed my booking to Garden cafe at Swan resort, is this a better choice?

Also booked Narcoossee's for our last night as a special for my wife.

Is the lobster a good choice for main course?

Glad you changed your plans. You'll be much happier!

Lobster is the perfect Narcoossee's choice! I MUST have it, on every trip. My husband adds steak, to go with his lobster.

Enjoy!

The Garden Grove at the Swan is available on restaurant.com, $25 off two entrees at dinner.

Make sure you use a discount code. The current one is FATHER. It expires tomorrow and is good for 70% off-that's $3 for $25 off.

Happy Dining!
