HELP ...1st time to florida not sure on villa or hotel??

Hi we are a family of 5. 3 boys 15,10 and 8. We like our independence which is why we are thinking of a villa, we would like one with entertainment for the boys psp, wii etc in room but also a nice pool. Have seen some in a complex with things such as 2 pools, kids entertainment room etc, but would be nice to have somewhere which is recommended...any suggestions much appreciated...maybe you know of a hotel which has a good deal such as breakfast included with a suite to acommodate 5 again with good in room entertainment for the kids. Need to book ASAP!!!

We aren't fans of a Villa, just like to be with other people I guess, lots of other kids to play with and a Beautiful Resort to explore is what makes us happy

We stay at Disney Resorts for that Reason but I understand that may not be everyone's cup of Tea

I suggest having at look at these Specials that offer Suites, breakfast and more :)

Staying on Disney propery is really great but if you need a villa it can be expensive. We have been renting a villa for several yrs. and like it very much. You might like a villa in a gated community that has a club house and a community pool. Try www.homeaway.com or www.orlandovillas.com.

Hi Kaitie5.

You either do a fly drive and book a Villa.

Or get a package holiday including villa and car.

A villa is a must, You and DH plus your 3 DS's will really enjoy a Villa over hotel. Private pool you can swim anytime of day till evening. Great for relaxing after a long day at the parks.

We only cook breakfast and eat out the rest. You can order take away's to be delivered. All Villa's will have local information packs with telephone numbers for all local restaurants and directions.

We did a hotel first trip 2 DS's were 12 13. Since then had 4 villa's. You won't regret it .

Have fun, also we found a Villa to be cheaper.

Hope this helps

Windsor Palms or Windsor Hills, . Lovely villas, close to all the parks, and Walmart and other shops.

Lovely grounds and plenty of places for your son's to mingle if they want to.

If you want an apartment but in a more complex/hotel feel. We have also stayed in Lake Buena Vista Resort and spa. Amazing apartments in an amazing complex that feels like a hotel. I stayed in a 3bed one, with a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms, washing machine etc. We loved this place as felt like completely independant but loads for kids to do if they want to,. Also it is right next door to LBV outlets, (litterally across car park 1min away) and there is a Walmart, across the road and parks 15 mins away x

If you need any more info, just ask

Hi we are also a family of five, We went last May/June when 3 kids were 12,11 & 7.

For your first visit a hotel would be fine . You are out all the time and only really use the place to sleep. We stayed at the Caribe Royale all suites hotel in Lake Buena Vista which was fabulous and we all fitted in to a suite with two queen beds and a sofa bed in the living area. This hotel was also 5 mins away from the Disney Gate. The Huge Pool was fantastic too with a fun waterslide and waterfalls , jacuzzi etc.

We would not stay in a villa as we like meeting people and talking to people at the pool in elevators etc and its nice for the kids to make friends too. There is plenty of suite hotels or condos in the area. We are hoping to go again this year and will definatley stay at the same hotel.#

They also had two huge tvs in each room for us to watch and showed movies by the pool certain nights.

I prefer villas any day. Works out cheaper than if you stay within Disney. Enjoy all the space you need, children have their own bedrooms and bathroom. It is also more easier if you do not want to eat out every morning and lunch as you can cater for yourself and this works out alot cheaper. Personally, we eat out for the odd breakfast and enjoy our evening meal out which is enough for us. Alot of villas have their own pools and well as sharing a communal pool. Some villas also have their own games room which your boys would enjoy. You will be spoilt for choice on Owners Direct or Holiday Lettings. Have fun looking!
