Really, they are nothing to be concerned about. They don't bite and don't sting. If you have a rental car and get a few on the front of the car, somebody else will have to wash them off.

Well there were thousands of them when we were there a week ago, all over our doors all day, a nightmare,

So if they do not bite or sting, what on earth was it that was biting me and DD to death all holiday, I thought it was the Love bugs.

And what on earth are these love bug things, they seem to be two attached to each other, with one franticly walking backwards being dragged along, and I never saw one alone, very strange little things.

My guess would be mosquitos.

Ha Ha Cazkatjoe. They are nasty little buzzards, aren't they?? I first encountered them last year when I relocated from New York. I could barely get in the front door of my new home. They weren't as bad this year, thank goodness. I guess they aren't any worse than the rest of the insects here. Have you ever encountered a "dung" beetle??
