Flying on the A330 with Virgin. Which seats?

We are taking our granddaughter in June and to be honest the thought of 9 hours on a plane with an active 6 year old is a bit daunting.

I have been researching the seating on the new Virgin A330 but there does not seem to be much info out there at the moment.

I have noticed that the only rows with 3 seats are row 61 backwards.

I would appreciate any opinions as to which seats would be best for us.

We went with Thomas Cook on a A330 ~ would the seating be arranged same as on Virgin planes??

If you like the 3 seats at the centre then I would have row 62DFG or at a push 63DFG. Any further back would be too near the toilet and row 61 is off centred to row 60. If you can't grab those seats then you might have to settle with the 4 seats in the middle.

It seems that all the A330's are different. I had a look at the Thomas Cook A330 and they are mostly 3 3 3. The Virgin one's are 2 4 2 until you get to row 61 then they are 2 3 2.

A bit tricky when there are 3 people.

I was looking at row 61 as I thought there would be more space to each side but then realised they must be off centre?

All these seats are showing available at the moment.

I have looked at Seat Guru but cannot find the new Virgin A330 only the 747.

I would love to fly PE but I booked the holiday while the Virgin sale was on so I am happy with the deal I got.

I can see A340-300 but that isn't it.

A340-600 and after that the 747's.

What am I doing wrong?

I have followed the link above but still cannot see it.

Every airlines seats arrangement would be different. Even if they are the same, the row numbers and letters might be different.

Thomas Cook as a chartered airline would try and cram as many passengers as the plane allows. As their seat layout out is 3-3-3 on the A330 compare the VS 2-4-2. So Thomas Cook squeezed an extra seat to every row.

It does appear seatguru is not yet covering the reviews of the new A330.

With row 61 slightly off centre to row 60, when watching the IFE, the person sitting in row 61 will have to watch the TV screen slightly at an angle.
