Not sure if it's the sort of thing you'd be looking for but the I-Ride Trolley marker map is pretty useful.
You have the best map store in the world in the UK -- Stanfords in Longacre in London. The website at www.stanfords.co.uk will have several choices for Orlando maps, and usually shows the detail and coverage for each.
You will be be able to obtain some free maps when you arrive; most rental companies have one with good coverage but limited detail. There are also some free tourist maps available at many hotels.
For advance planning, having a paper map is nice, but you can also use online mapping like google maps or google earth, which also has the street view feature.
Google Earth is so helpful in learning roads, and the layout of anywhere, before you even leave.
AAA ofices if you are AA member in the UK and they are free.
