disney snowglobes hand luggage?

hi,

my wife was asking if she would be able to take a snowglobe back from disney? in case or hand luggage? dose any one have any experience?

Put it in your checked baggage. Liquid and TSA are NOT a good combo.

Saw a very upset young girl having hers taken from her last year, not a nice end to her holiday. Definitely in your checked baggage, as the above poster said.

They come well packaged in styrofoam, so if you pack it well, it would probably be okay in a checked bag. However, you will not be allowed to put one in your carry on luggage. Because it is filled with liquid, it is on the banned items list. Snow globes actually have their own paragraph on the TSA website:

If there's more than 100ml of liquid, then it has to go in checked luggage.
