where to stay,universal ,holiday time

First time in orlando,main objective is HP at universal,but also seaworld and alittle disney,have to go during xmas holiday so know we want to get in to universal early as possible,looking at staying at the lowes royal pacific or hyattplace universal(which seems a little less costly) would we need to switch hotels for the disney part or could we stay somewhere w acsess to both parks?thanks so much

A lot depends on whether you have a car. I would stay at the Royal Pacific at Universal as your room key will give you front of line access and that will be invaluable at that time of year. If you have a car you can easily get to Disney from the RP. Without a car you might have a bit of a trek if using busses. (There is no direct shuttle or bus). If you are going to spend a few days doing the Disney parks then I would suggest moving to a hotel on Disney property or in the Lake Buena Vista area. Make sure that the hotel you chose has a shuttle service to the parks.

Stay at royal pacific, worth extra cost

See if you can get a deal at pop century for Disney or look at hotels in lake buena vista like radisson
