We fly in on October 8th and would like to take the kids (and for the adults too!) to pick oranges. We are staying at a house in Davenport and have car rentals. Can anyone recommend a good place to go next week?

Hi. Try Showcase of Citrus on the 27. Just go up on 192 and turn right on 27. Follow the road a few miles and it is on your right hand side. A great half-day out.
Not sure you will be able to pick any fruit at this time of year. Most citrus is not ripe until late November at the earliest.

or Port Charlotte, picked raspberrys , strawberrys and potatoes,would love to pick oranges
