Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether non-UK residents are able to book accommodation through this site? Ticket sales seem to be only for UK residents, but can't find anything about accommodation conditions. When I convert the pounds to aussie dollars this site seems significantly cheaper than the US based go disney site.

I believe folks outside the UK have tried this but could not. Mutter is one forum member I can think of that tried.

What were the price differences ? What dates are you looking at to visit ?

Thanks for the reply!

We were hoping to visit September 2013, probably from around the 13th to the 21st, give or take.

In AUD$ the price difference is around $1000 for accommodation only, not including tickets!! Huge amount which is why I'm curious! We are looking at a moderate disney resort, maybe POR or Saratoga Springs.

Saratoga isn't a moderate. It's a DVC/delux resort and will be quite a bit more expensive than POR I would have thought..

The biggest difference right now is that the UK site is offering Free Dining ( and a bunch of other specials ) so the savings is pretty good and will "seem" quite a bit less than booking from any other Disney Site or local Travel Agent

The Fall Free Dining will be announced to Everyone, from Anywhere, on the US Disney Site, as will a Fall Room Discount Offer, we need to wait a bit

Do a Mock reservation on the US Disney Site ( http.disneyworld.disney.go.com ) add room and tickets only, the price will be about what it will be with the free dining

POR and CSR are both Moderate Resorts and the rates are about the same

The UK site and agents seem to push Saratoga Springs, a lot. It is a very large DVC Deluxe Resort so it does most often have the greatest availability

I emailed the UK site and unfortunately only UK residents and consumers in EU and EAU countries may book any WDTC UK Products.

Boo!!
