Turnpike road

I realise that turnpike road is a toll road. planning on heading down to ST Cloud from north International drive, does this road take cash and how much can I expect to pay? I read on another thread that a Sunpass is required. Can someone please clarify

Thanks in advance

To my knowledge, if you get on the Turnpike at I-4 and get off at 192 you can still pay cash/get change. Don't recall the amount. $1.25? Something like that

You can use cash. A Sunpass is only required at the very southern end of the Turnpike. Use the toll calculator above. You will get on at I-4 and exit at US 192. You will have to travel east on I-4 from the Kirkman Rd on ramp.

You can drive down the 192 all the way to St Cloud no need to go on toll road

You can, but it will be a whole lot faster driving 70 or 80 down the Turnpike without traffic lights. It is only a couple of miles up I-4 to get on the Turnpike from Kirkman Rd/Intl Drive, and the exit on US 192 is just west of St Cloud.

Very true surffish

Call me odd but I quite like the drive along the 192 maybe because I'm on holiday and not in a rush to get anywhere

I like to take in the local ambience lol

I do that driving to Ft Myers. I never thought Kissimmee had much ambience. There are only so many vacant hotels and fast food joints that I can handle on the eastern side of Kissimmee. lol

Thanks for the replies, heading down to Wild Willies airboat tours and their site advises you need a Sunpass

We drove to wild Willys and didn't touch the toll road - however it's your choice

It's no big deal just to take the 192 we found the place easy peasy

It was great by the way
