Virgin seat plan booking, advice please.

Hi, Its 90 days until we fly with Virgin to Florida, and we have sucessfully managed to choose our seats :-). Can someone please tell me how you go about choosing our seats for return journey? Do we have to wait a fortnight until it is 90 days for the return flight? Any help would be much appreciated - Thanx!

Don't forget that you have only "requested" to sit in the seats you have picked and they can (and sometimes do) change them. Very annoying as it has happened to us a couple of times in the past.

Are you flying from Glasgow, if so what was the seat configuration? Also we are considering paying for the extra leg room seats but dont know where they are situated on the plane - any clues/hints would be great

Hi, yeah we are flying from Glasgow and we have went for row 36 which is on the wing. We are a family of six (2 adults/4 kids) so delighted to see that most of the plane is in rows of two or four so we went for the two seats together then the four next to us in same row. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed that they keep us together esp with this being such a long flight. Dont know if the wing is the best part of the plane to sit, but hey ho we are still excited. Only 89 days to go!!! :-)))))))

For an even amount of travellers, I always pick the two seats by the window/aisle if the config is 2-4-2. That of course depending on how old your kids are.

VA will do their very best to keep families sitting together, especially if young ones are involved.

We've been moved twice (just the two of us) to accommodate families sitting together but didn't mind (once to PE !!)

Someone once told me that the over the wing area was the sturdiest part of the plane.....don't know if that's true but don't worry as you will be in the best place in the world in 9 hours.

It will be hot, hot, hot so keep slapping that sun screen on and have a fab time.
