Pool on the rain?

Just to settle a query between me and my oh haha can you still go in the villa pools when it's raining does the rain get through the screen? Thanks in advance x

Yes you can go swimming in the rain, some rain will filter in but as long as it is not lightning, you are fine.

VisitOrlando talks about the lightening. If there is lightening anywhere nearby stay out. Same for thunder, because lightening is not far behind. Otherwise, a light rain, you are already wet, so who cares. Rain is pretty clean until it hits the ground.

Regarding lightening - well obviously - surely anyone knows not to go in water when a storm is in the vicinity

Sadly, no -- people don't know to not go in the pool when there's thunder or lightning, and a handful of folks don't live to tell the tale every single year.
