If you are looking for a large breakfast for a budget, I would look at Golden Corral, last year we would pay around $20 (inc tip of $2) for 2 adults. use coupons to save some money. This includes the meal and unlimited beverages hot and cold.

Don't eat a big breakfast everyday if you are going to not make it to the parks for opening. Saving a few bucks on lunch isn't going to be worth lines of 1-2 hours. If you are willing to get up early for it, fine.

Not to mention what 2 weeks of a fat fest will do to your waistline.

We usually spend about $20-$25 for 2 adults at Crackerbarrell, Dennys etc. We like to have a decent breakfast and then don't bother with lunch. We still make it to parks for opening, just get up a bit earlier . All the walking will burn off the calories.

Agree totally with the above post

Big brekkie at Golden Corral and then a decent sized early evening meal.

If you are on a budget try ponderosa or sizzler, they are cheaper but gc is better

We have 2a and 2c as well

I've found Denny's and IHOP to be cheaper than Crackerbarrel, personally I prefer crackerbarrel everytime, love the pancakes there!

We've done the big breakfasts before the parks, however on a hot day this has tended to make us very lethargic and sluggish. In recent years we've done the opposite, bought a bowl of fruit from a supermarket as a small breakfast get to the parks as soon as they open and then had a sit down meal at the parks at lunchtime. This then meant we were suitably recharged feed and watered to carry on until the parks closed

Our game plan is to be at perkins for about 7.15 am. Big breakfast with pancakes. Sets us up for a day at the parks and then for lunch just break up a huge sub [$6] that we buy from publix. We are a family of 5 and the grub in the parks at lungh works out a lot more than a good quality breakfast.

Why don't you get some cereal and fruit from the supermarket and also some stuff for packed lunches. That way you can have breakfast in your room before you go( save time and money) and you won't be spending a fortune on lunches at the parks. We have done the big breakfasts before, now we limit ourselves to one or two per holiday as it's not really the best thing to do before you hit the coasters!

We are usually just on our own so we prefer a nice leisurely lunch in the parks or Citywalk with a nice cold beer, so we usually just have cereal or a bagel for breakfast.

And don't worry about the calories, you are on holiday and you can always diet when you get back!

Our fave breakfast place if we are out and about is Perkins as everything is cooked to order, not a fan of Sizzler, Golden Corral etc

We also just eat in our room (bring small breakfast stuff from home). Saves money but more importantly time in the morning. Also big breakfast and rides and heat don't always mix too well...lol
