Feb 23 you hvae the Daytona 500, but nothing in April. Baseball, You have the Rays but again, April is not baseball season, so you won't see any MLB although you might catch little league action, and as for Soccer, Orlando City games you might be able to catch, that said, the fixtures are not released yet

Correction. Baseball season starts the first of April. While the race will not be going on a trip to daytona can still be fun. You can take a tour of the speedway. You can also check out a local track in winter haven if you want to see some racing.

Yes, you could head to Daytona anyway if you wanted. If it's a nice day you could even go to the beach while there though you won't want to go in the water in April other than maybe your feet. There is also a Nascar themed restaurant at Universal CityWalk

You asked about basketball, not baseball, but you have both in April. Orlando Magic professional basketball would be at the end of their regular season play. Tampa Bay Rays professional baseball would be at the beginning of the season. There is also a good chance that Orlando City Soccer will have a home match sometime during the month. They play preseason games as early as February where they are usually in the tournament at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports
