Generally, the more expensive the product, the more savings. Certainly the way it works with Bose. Bose Companion 5 speakers are £40 less if you were to buy them in the US. Just an example.

If the thing you want to buy is intended to run off mains voltage then, almost certainly, if bought in the USA it will require 110v. In the UK our 240v mains will quickly kill it. You will therefore need a drop-down transformer meaty enough to supply the speakers.

If the think you want is battery powered (or passive - needing no external power) then all well and good.

Bose has outlet stores (very nice ones) at outlet malls. I'm pretty sure they would be at both of the Premium Outlet Malls.
