Any storms forecast for September ?

Off to Orlando 13th Sep, first for us at this time of year (we usually go in May), I was wondering, are there any storms forecast or is it too soon to know and are the temps about the same as they are in May ?

Don't know if there are any storms forcast but we have been in September on a number of occasions and the weather has always been hot. Some rain but nothing to spoil the holiday. Was there for one hurricane but only lost a day (24 hour curfew) and weather was glorious before and after. Just go and enjoy and don't worry about the weather!

Temps not altogether different than May, however, it will be much more humid with greater chances of daily rain. You will assuredly run into some storms in September sometime over the course of two weeks. These are common and not something to try to plan around. Get on with your plans - the majority of the day unlikely to be affected. You'll need to wait much closer in to check the forecast and you can then use the link at the top right of the page to watch local news station video on the matter. Wouldn't pay attention to anything more than a day or two out. Even within a day the exact location of the scattered storms or isolated cells are not well predicted. You could have rain at one park and not another. For hurricanes and tropical storms you can check here http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/

A bit too soon. But you did book during peak Storm season ;-0

There is a tropical depression off Mexico but heading west. Nothing forming off africa or the caribbean at this time.

keep an eye out here:

Should be ok, Weather that time of the year is still pretty hot with the occasional TS's. At the end of the day it can't be any worse than Liverpool!!

Thanks everyone, we have been in June & July also...July was the worst more because of the queues rather than the storms which were usually late afternoon. It is funny seeing people run for cover in Wet & Wild ;) How humid is Sept humidity...is it a lot more than July ?

Alan I will have you know Liverpool is very sunny today :)
