Hotel or keep in Airport?

I get into Orlando at about 11pm at night & have a flight leaving at 6am.

Sitting in my comfy loung chair I am thinking of just sleeping in the airport, but I have this funny feeling I will change my mind on arrival.

I will be at the tail end of a 30 hour flight & probably have some jet lag.

Still $300 for at most 4 or 5 hours of sleep makes me think twice.

What would others do?

I would go to one of the 20 or so airport hotels where you can get a room for under $100-Priceline also has good deals on these. They all have shuttles and most include breakfast as well. Fairfield Inn MCO,Hampton Inn MCO,Springhill Suites MCO,Hyatt Palce MCO are all good

Personally you will so appreciate that sleep in a comfy bed,i know you are only sleeping there for a few hours but its quality nap you will appreciate

We did it when i was flying to Australia,in Singapore, the money was worth every penny.

OK this has swayed me, I have booked & paid for 1 night at the Hyatt inside the airport.

Cheaper than I thought at around $180 US.

I will be setting multiple alarm clocks & have a wake up call set too.

Although the last time I was in Florida, the jet lag had me wide awake at about 4am which will actually come in handy this time round.

In addition to the Hyatt which is in the main terminal at the airport itself, here is a listing of hotels with complimentary shuttles. www.orlandoairports.net/marketing/hotels.htm

Of course, since you arrive very late and need to depart very early I would want to inquire direct with the hotel as to the shuttle availability during those hours to be sure, and, perhaps, not count on any free breakfast, if one is offered, being served at 4am.

That's what I would have done. There are cheaper hotels, but you can't beat the airport Hyatt for convenience.

Hotel where you can sleep and get a good morning shower because sleeping in a chair all night at the airport not comfortable at all.
