club level or not

We are planning a trip to Disney in July and are thinking Beach Club resort. Does any one have any comments on the club level rooms? Are they worth the extra $100+ per day? Thank you.

We quite enjoy Club Level ( our favourites are Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Boardwalk Inn :) If you are going to plan some down time, relaxing and taking advantage of the Club Level breakfast, snacks wine, beer etc, go for it, it is lovely and the extra $100 can easily be justified with at least 2 people, more than 2 is a bonus, especially if you have a few kids. If you plan to be going non stop in the Parks all day and night, it may not be worth it for you

thanks partypa, four of us are going and I know how costly drinks are there. A few reviewers said the lounge was small and could get very crowded . I love the idea of a five min. walk to Epcot though.

Would you definitely eat/drink more than $100 worth of drinks/snacks a day there? That's what you have to figure out :)

Even Disney doesn't charge $5 for a coke

Refillable mugs are $17.99 for length of stay

ahh Carmela you beat me to it, I was just going to suggest refillable mugs :)

club level is about $171-178 more a night in July, so would you spend more than that (even if you spent the same, that's not saving you anything) a day? We would be busy at the parks and at the pool (in which case the mugs work out well). We bring breakfast stuff from home also (saves time and money in the morning).

By the way, we love Beach Club, great pool area, great location :)

No they are not. They have new ones now with chips in them, so the old ones wouldn't have that and without the chip it won't work.
