Gator Land

I would like to visit GatorLand in April this year with my family ( 15yr old boy and 11yr old girl). Is a half day enough?

Yes, half a day is enough for Gatorland IMHO. It is well worth a visit and your children may like the zipline?

KendallsMom, you can google it to get the distance. It only took us about 20 mins to drive there from LBV if I remember rightly.

Thanks. Sometime I feel like the google maps aren't 100% accurate on actual time it takes to get somewhere.

Gatorland zoo is just north of Kissimmee and st south edge of Orlando. A half day should be about right.

They have gator jumping shows, gator handling shows, gator walk in the wild, train ride, large land turtles, outdoor snake exhibit, white (not albino) alligators, baby gators, gator feeding, bird feeding, tons of different size gators, one or two crocodiles, birds, a small water play area for kids, flamingos, fish feeding, and many more interesting animals.

Kath google Gator Land I'm sure there is a organised trip there

A cab would be pricey and public transport isn't an option

Of course public transport is an option. Easy and cheap. Takes longer than driving which may be a big issue for the highly impatient.

From International Drive you can get to Gatorland by

- LYNX bus 42 to the Florida Mall

- transfer there to LYNX bus 108 - passes right by the entrance, takes about 25 minutes from the Mall.

Both services, 42 and 108, run every 30 minutes (less frequent on Sundays).
