I would like to visit GatorLand in April this year with my family ( 15yr old boy and 11yr old girl). Is a half day enough?
Yes just a few worthwhile hours
KendallsMom, you can google it to get the distance. It only took us about 20 mins to drive there from LBV if I remember rightly.Edited: 05 April 2014, 16:07
Thanks. Sometime I feel like the google maps aren't 100% accurate on actual time it takes to get somewhere.
They have gator jumping shows, gator handling shows, gator walk in the wild, train ride, large land turtles, outdoor snake exhibit, white (not albino) alligators, baby gators, gator feeding, bird feeding, tons of different size gators, one or two crocodiles, birds, a small water play area for kids, flamingos, fish feeding, and many more interesting animals.
Hi we don't drive, how much would a taxi be or could we get a bus to gatorland, we are staying on international drive.
Kath google Gator Land I'm sure there is a organised trip there
A cab would be pricey and public transport isn't an option
Of course public transport is an option. Easy and cheap. Takes longer than driving which may be a big issue for the highly impatient.
From International Drive you can get to Gatorland by
- LYNX bus 42 to the Florida Mall
- transfer there to LYNX bus 108 - passes right by the entrance, takes about 25 minutes from the Mall.Edited: 12 June 2014, 17:38
Both services, 42 and 108, run every 30 minutes (less frequent on Sundays).
