driving to Miami

our flight leaves from Miami on Saturday at around 8.30pm we are planning on leaving our hotel in Orlando early and spend a few hours at Miami beach, any tips on parking where to go and what to see with a couple of hours/half a day to spare?

Ask this on the Miami forum, not Orlando.

South Beach is the popular place to go, there are public lots where you pay so much per hour or by the day. From there you can walk to the beach and to Lincoln Ave where there are lots of shops and restaurants. You will want to get an early start as its a 4 hour drive. You will want to give yourself plenty of time at the airport too.

As suggested the Miami forum will have more info.

You can find parking here web.miamibeachfl.gov/parking/scroll.aspx…

Last time I parked at the multi storey car park at 13th Street/Collins Ave. You can then walk to Ocean Drive from there and walk along the Beach. After that you can also walk to Lincoln Road mall.
