Another dreaded question!!!..........

Hi, I know this question has probably been asked a million times on here but thought I'd ask again for more up to date replies!

Myself and my 12 year old will be going to orlando for the first time next year for 3 weeks, this is all new to us, usually go camping in the good old English summer!!

I am just after a rough idea on how much spending money to bring. We won't have a car and will have already bought park tickets, It will be for eating, bus rides and a bit of souvenir shopping. We don't eat vast amounts so will probably have a decent breakfast, take some snacks with us during the day, then have something proper to eat later on.

I know it's a bit like how long is a piece of string, but if you could let me know how long you went for and roughly what you took with you that would be a great help, just so I can get a rough idea.

Thanks so much

Quite cheap to eat out, no need for starters as main meals are so big prob £10 each for dinner. Have a big breakfast then take snacks to the parks. No need to take drinks either as you can get free iced water in all the restaurants and drink stands just take the small Robinson concentrated small new bottles to add flavour. Sorry no idea about bus prices as we hire a car but I know you can purchase a weekly ticket. Shopping is in dollars for pounds so if you buy a top here for £20 it will be $20 so much cheaper. So you may spend £40 on food for the two of you then your bus fairs and whatever souvenirs you buy. Hope this helps :-)

If you breakfast like kings, and then a few snacks until evening meal, $100 per day should be fine. Perhaps allow another $20-30 for souvenirs. Anything left over from one day, add to a separate pot for a last day shopping blow out, lol!

Hi

A big range of food places in Orlando to suit most budgets. Meals are generally cheaper than UK, but you need to add tax and tips. Alcohol slightly more expensive. Soft drinks ( Coke, lemonade etc) are cheaper and you generally get free refills.

Portions are larger so you can skip or share starters.
