Medication

Hi folks,

We fly to Orlando in August and I have a question about medication.Due to Heart trouble I am on seven different pills a day.I will not need them on the flight and they will be in the original boxes and correctly named. Therefore can I put them in my hold luggage or must I have them in my hand baggage for Security checks etc.

Definitely carry them in your carry on- you do not want your baggage with essential meds lost or delayed- keep them with you at all times.

Agree with what Lulutoo says ... plus get a letter from your doctor stating that they are your prescribed medications.

As with any valuable, fragile or hard to replace items, carry them with you.

Carry any medication in original packaging and in your carry-on only. Not for security reasons but to avoid possible loss. Never in the hold. No doctor note needed.

Do not put them in your hold luggage. Imagine if your bag went missing.

I doubt it very much as long as everything is in the original container with your name on it.

Think about how many people travel with medication......Imagine all the doctor notes security officials would be reading.

As Vic said in #7......
