Vista Cay by Millennium

Anybody booked Vista Cay through Travel Republic or any other third party and had a bad experience? Reading through the reviews they seem to treat you differently if you don't book directly through them. I have booked through Travel Republic we're off in November and can't wait!! Just got this issue in the back of my mind, many thanks in advance

Hi julian H

We had a late booking at Vista Cay earlier this year through Thomson Holidays and didn't encounter any problems. We had a 3 bedroom townhouse which was fab. It was really clean and nicely furnished. Although the unit overlooked Universal Boulevard we weren't troubled with noise from traffic at all. The pool was lovely only 3-4 min walk. We found the staff really friendly and helpful, It was a 5 min drive to International drive if that, we did see lots of people walking but didn't fancy it in the heat. We wouldn't hesitate booking again.

We priced with travel republic and booked at Dawson & Sanderson travel agents who price matched. I can't remember which company they used but it definitely wasn't direct and we ended up with a lively apartment. We booked the upgraded (executive?) one.

Would thoroughly recommend vista cay.

We stayed at Vista Cay & booked through Travel Republic . This was our 2nd time staying here, last year we booked through Millenium management this year due to the low deposit offer we booked through Travel Republic . There was absolutely no difference from last year to this year expect we where given a welcome pack & free vouchers for drinks at the bar(nice touch). We emailed Millenium Management prior to arrival , gave them my name & asked for a lake view they replied straight away and said they would try their best but couldn't promise anything . We arrived to check in & we where upgraded from a 2 bed premium to a 3 bed premium with a lake view next to the clubhouse . 👍

We have stayed at Vista Cay on several occasions. We always book through Destinationamerica.co.uk. They are so helpful the price is fantastic! Going again in 14 days and can't wait!

The thing to remember with Vista Cay (we're off there again this year in September so this isn't a criticism) is that some are owned privately and some are owned/managed by the management company.

If you choose to book through the management company they have a whole range of apartments to choose from & they are maintained by them. If you book privately they you pays your money and takes your choice, having said that this is what we've always done as usually it's much cheaper - also remember that your travel agent may be booking you into a privately rented apartment.

Hopefully most of these are well maintained, but remember it's no good complaining to the management company that are in no way related/responsible for the private apartments.

We also have booked with destinationamerica. However we were located on the Isles of cay common side and although the apartment was lovely the same can't be said for the pool area. So be careful when booking that if it is the Vista cay side you wish to be on then that is where the condo /town house is located. I also echo what Steve K said as our complaints fell on deaf ears.
