Great Places to Eat in Orlando?

We're a family with two kids (aged 3 & 7) and will be heading to Orlando for 2 weeks. What food venues would you recommended? Are there any restaurants that allow kids to eat free with the purchase of an adult entree? I'm looking for family dining venues. Olive Garden (our favorite), IHOP, Bugaboo's & Friendly's are already on our list.

If you like Olive Garden try out Carabba's and Maggiano's.

I don't know that I would call those places "great". Olive Garden isn't bad for lunch, and IHOP isn't bad for breakfast, but not "great".

Google the "2014 Foodie Awards" from the Orlando Sentinel for ideas. There are lots and lots of restaurants near and on I-Drive.

Try Yellow Dog Eats, its a little out of the way but well worth the drive.

Somehow when I opened the topic of "great places to eat in Orlando" I never expected the names "Olive Garden" and "IHOP" to come up.

Where are you staying and will you have a car?

Carabba's and Maggiano's Little Italy are far better as chains go and there are any number of local Italian restaurants that are far better.

As far as breakfast spots, Cracker Barrel, Keke's Breakfast Cafe, First Watch and even the Waffle House are better than IHOP.

Here are a couple of "kids eat free" websites.

This is a great post already on the forum where everybody is recommending their favourite BBQ, Burger, Ice Cream place etc. You'll get some great suggestions from here.
