St. Pete beach compared to Ft. Myers Beachv

Last winter we stayed on Ft. Myers Beach, and we loved it. We like the relaxed atmosphere and all of the beach bars along the beach. We will be flying in to St. Petersburg this winter, and would like to find somewhere similar in this area. What do you suggest?

If you like a relaxed atmosphere and lots of beach bars, you will love St Pete Beach!

The beach is over 4 miles long, so does not get towel-to-towel crowded. Great for strolling or sunning. But you can easily find a crowd at one the 17 beachfront bars (many with live entertainment), or one of the many other waterfront bars/restaurants that sit along the intracoastal waterway and the passes.

It will be quite a few degrees cooler in St. Pete compared to Ft. Myers - if that matters.
