That describes nearly every restaurant around! This is a casual beach town, with many family-friendly places. Much depends on the kind of food you are looking for.

That said, kids might especially enjoy Sea Critters Café in Pass-a-Grille, where you can dine waterfront and watch the catfish feed around the docks at sunset with their underwater lights.

The RumFish Grill at the Guy Harvey Outpost has beautiful, huge aquariums (one is approx 33500 gallons, and was featured on the TV show "Tanked") and very good food.

Bongo's at the Grand Plaza has tables right in the sand on the beach - kids can play in the sand while they wait for the food. Caddy's On The beach in TI also has toes in the sand dining. Caddy's is very kid-friendly on weekdays, but I would skip weekends, when the party starts there and it gets pretty crazy.

Crab Daddy's has nice water views and great food. Buona Pizza at Dolphin Village gets great reviews and has waterfront tables. I mention waterfront, as it's fun to watch the pelicans, and there is always a chance of spotting dolphins.

Hope this gets you started! If you are looking for specific cuisines, etc, please just ask and we can try to point you in the right direction. :-)

Any suggestions for a good casual rehearsal dinner place? We're thinking just 6 of us (bridal party) then inviting others for drinks/hanging out after.

People are spread across Madeira beach, Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach.

I think we're going to try to do Bongos for our wedding dinner so that's out for the rehearsal.

Jimmy B's beach bar at the Beachcomber hotel might also be an option. They have live music every day, and the afternoon band always plays outside, so both parents and the kids can enjoy the tunes, the views, good food, and the adults maybe a "beverage" or 2.
