Wash out????

According to the Weather Channel's website, it is supposed to rain EVERY day for the next 10 days on the islands. We're heading there next Wed. I know that it usually rains once a day and then clears. Is it possible that their forecast denotes that our entire vacation will be washed out? We have so many outdoor plans and after looking at their forecast, I'm scared. It's funny up until this past hour all of the days we are to be there were filled with a sunny forecast. How fast things change!

It probably will rain everyday - we get a shower in the morning and we have been getting one in the evening as well but all sunshine in between. I don't see 10 days of solid rain in our local forecast. Check out www.newspress.com or www.wunderground.com then put in the Sanibel area code. 33957.

It will give you a more specific forecast.

thanks for the hope!! I think I just worry too much - lol!! I have been monitoring the weather sites because of the time of year that it is. I don't mind the daily shower here or there but they were making it look like we will be under water.

Thanks again, rainstorm!

by the way that's a pretty cool screenname.

I think about the longest time I had rain was 2 days - but getting rain at least once a day is pretty common this time of the year. Wunderground is one of the best weather sites, as Rainstorm said. You can also check www.nbc-2.com The local weather is always available there.
