Red Tide at the Sundial on Sanibel

I am not really sure about the other people writing posts on here. We have been staying at the Sundial for a week. Every day there have been huge mounds of red tide algea between the beach and the water. As of today, it is basically 2 feet high and 5-6 wide the entire length of the beach. It is basically impossible to get to the water without climbing over the hills. On the bright side my one year old daughter enjoys climbing them.
