Where to rent a vacation home for two weeks?

We would like to rent a 3 or 4 bedroom house for two weeks, probably through VRBO, but have no idea what neighbourhoods would be good ones. We are looking to be able to go to the beach every day to walk and would also like to be near shopping and restaurants. We tend to like newer homes, but updated homes would also work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We are also open to other areas such as Bradenton. Thanks for your help.

You can post on the Bradenton foru..or Anna Maria island if you want beach.

How much do you want to spend for the 2 weeks and when? rpeices are much higher in the winter/spring..

How close to the beach? walking distance? Siesta Village has the most shopping/dining options.

Looking to spend around $1400 per week and would love to walk to the beach but if there is parking, we would drive up to 15 minutes.

Does it have to be a single family house?

What time pf year? That will make a huge difference for your budget.

You could get something most times of year in Bradenton for that, maybe even on the bay. But you wont get a single family home for that with 4 beds in peak season on the islands peak season I don't think. Maybe off season.

Have you looked at AMI, Longboat and Siesta Key on VRBO already? Search on min 3 beds and check prices for your dates.

We are looking for the last week of December and the first week of January 2014/15. We would prefer a single family home and 3 bedrooms would work.

Well have a look at the website and see if you can find something that works on island. It might be part of a complex, would that bother you?

If you can't find something on island at your price point, get back to us. I knlw you'll find something in Bradenton for that (or less even). Lots of parts of Sarasota mainland aren't zoned for weekly.

Thanks for letting me know that. Can you recommend any neighbourhoods in Bradenton?

you can look at Longboat Key...check with Wagner Realty.

There are 3 bedroom units on Siesta Key but not single family:

Midnight Cove- Bayside is nice

Provincial Gardens
