We just stayed at Crescent Towers 5/14 - 5/21 & we loved it ! We usually stay near the village, but this time we stayed on the beach. It was so great to be able to come & go, in & out of the apartment. Instead of driving to the beach & lugging all your stuff to the water. There was good shell hunting & lots of nice people staying there. If we didn't feel like going to the village, we just walked across the street to a couple of fun bars & restaurants.Quite often, we got our dinners to go & ate them on our patio, with some wine & had a great time with our neighbors, watching the sun set.If you want to go to the village, for some drinks, you can call Jonnys free beach rides, & they will come & pick you up.(they only charge tips). The place is nice & quiet & relaxed, & the water is shallow, so it's safe for kids. You'll love it at Crescent Towers. We only vacation once a year ,but we're thinking of maybe going again in October, if possible. Hope you have a great vacation!

Crescent Towers has 2 buildings. One is oceanfront & the other is right behind it (poolside). Both buildings only have 2 floors. We stayed in the front building in unit #9 on the ground floor.I thought the view would be better, if we stayed on the 2nd floor, but my friend didn't want to climb the stairs every time she wanted to go back to the apartment. You park in the back of the building & when you walk into the door(you're walking into the kitchen),the first thing you see, is the beautiful view of the beach & water !

They are studio apartments, so you walk in thru the kitchen & dining area & then the bathroom & bedroom & then the living room, followed by screened in porch & you step out onto the patio & beach. We liked that you can close off the bedroom, if you want to.They only have a window type A/C unit in the front wall, but it kept the entire unit nice & cool.We thought the view on the ground floor was great, & all of the oceanfront apartments have a full gulf view. There's no gulf view from the poolside building(except for 1 end unit has a partial view)The back units are about $200.00 cheaper, & you can just walk around the 1st building & you're on the beach, if you want to save some $.You can view all of the units on their website:www.crescenttowers.com & request the unit you want. Hope that helps. Can't wait to go back !
