just wondering where the players hang out.... My 8 year old is determined to get a few autographs, and we are only going to 2 games... Should we try to watch a practice? get to the game early? Do they traditionally go to breakfast at a certain place? He's interested in Phillies and Yankees. thanks

If you are going to a game, you can stand near the team dugout where they run end. Usually they give autographs after the game. You'll have to wait until the end. Ushers don't let people down in that area w/o a ticket until games are over. Bring or buy a ball. Easiest to throw and have autographed.

If you want Yankee autographs, bring something to get signed and go early to the game. There is a practice field -- it's near where people use the crosswalk from the parking at the Bucs stadium. You can go up to the fence and some of the players will come over. I will tell you that it is very crowded. Stand behind your child. People will push. It is before the entrance area so people do not need tickets. When we go to the games my kids always get a few autographs. Better chance if your son is asking than you.
