Henry Plant Museum - Christmas Exhibit

We will be staying in St. Pete's, and visiting friends there as well, for our 18th anniversary next week. We plan to go to the Henry Plant Museum to see the Christmas display. Would you say it is most festive in the evening, after 6 p.m., when the carolers are around? Also, when would we be less likely to run into a lot of children - on Sunday night or Monday night? Also, any suggestions for reasonable American or Italian food in the area? I had seen The Laughing Cat is 2 miles away and wonder if that would be a good choice? Thanks!

I have never been but I hear that it is extremely festive. Probably not alot of children on monday night.

Also, Laughing Cat is highly rated in the area. It is in Ybor City which is a great history spot for Tampa also. Park in the parking garage and walk around. You will enjoy the old brick streets.
