1 day in Tampa with luggage?

Hi, We get into Tampa after our cruise at 8:00am. Our flight is not until 8:00pm. Any suggestions on what to do? We will have our luggage, a 9year old and a 13 year old. AAh, I dont want to sit in the airport all day.

There are many things to do. I'm just not sure what you would do with your luggage. The Florida AquariumFlorida Aquarium is very close to the cruise terminal, and the kids may enjoy that. You could call them and ask them if they have a place to store your luggage. Or you could try the cruise terminal. :O)

In the same building as the cruise port is a collection of shops, restaurants, and even a bowling alley by the name of Splitsville. See if the cruise personnel would keep your luggage for a few hours while you wander around those shops.

On the other side of the port building is the Florida AquariumFlorida Aquarium. The kids would love that - you could spend more than half day in it.

I believe they can store your luggage at the cruise terminal:

Besides the suggestions above, you can also take the trolley to Ybor City to explore.

Maybe you could rent a car for the day, store the luggage in the trunk and head to the beach.
