If you only had one day in Treasure Island...

...What would you do with it?

You can only spend one day and never come back. Tell me everything. Where would eat, where would you be staying it, what would you do with your day...

I was kinda hoping Poocher, Bell02Fantasy, Tony7 and Ellen23 would just jump all over this post and share their dream day in Treasure Island.

I've been there 6 times before and I'm going back in october. My goal is to make every trip my best ever. And I do my very best to try and experience new stuff everytime. New places to eat, new places to shop, new things to do on the beach...

Since you guys are experts on the subject, please share your "must-list".

Thank you!

:-)

2. Re: If you only had one day in Treasure Island...

here's my list

where would i eat- don't normally eat 3 meals a day but if i had to choose- breakfast- caddys on the beach, to start my day.

lunch- vip lounge for mexican.

dinner- middle grounds grill for lobster.

of course, finish my day off with a chocolate milkshake from the shake shop.

where would i stay- residence inn- just to try it out since that place is really too rich for my blood. too much $$$$$ for me, but it does look nice.

what would i do with my day- hang out on the beach all day.

hope this helps.

Thanks for your input guys... Here's my perfect day in Treasure Island:

- Wake up very early a go for an hour run along the beach.

- Breakfast at Foxy's.

- Rent a kayak or a sea-doo and spend a couple of hours on Boca Ciega Bay. Beautiful homes and a couple of possible encounters with dolphins.

- Lunch at Sloppy Joe's fot their Blue Cheese Chips and Shock Top.

- Sprend the afternoon walking on the beach, relaxing, taking beautiful pictures and talking to locals.

- Dinner at The Pearl.

- Back to the beach for the sunset celebration at Bazzie's.

- A nice drink (or two) at Ricky T's with live music to end a perfect day.

- I'd be staying at Page Terrace. Clean, affordable, great staff and perfect location.

- I'd also try and squeeze-in an hour for John's Pass shops. Fan-Attic is a must for me and I have to buy myself a Miami Dolphins AFC East Champs 2008 shirt!

So there was my perfect day.
