Christmas dinner?

Family from Ohio spending a few days at Treasure Island Dec 21-26th looking for a restaurant open on Christmas day. Anyone know of any? Also looking for fun for my two teenagers. Haven't had a family vacation in awhile and it will be a long drive, so want them to have some fun during our brief stay there. Looks like a wonderful beach. Looking forward to a few days of R & R. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

The Pearl will be open Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day. www.gotothepearl.com for their menus and hours. I have enjoyed every meal I ate there and highly recommend it.

Another nice restaurant is Middle Grounds Grill, I do not know what their holiday schedule is, however, and their website does not specify it.

Enjoy your vacation and Happy Holidays

Thanks for the tip!

We're staying at Sunset Vistas and The Pearl looks closeby. Is there a grocery close to Sunset Vistas or should we get groceries before arriving to TI? Thanks!

You will find a great Publix Supermarket 1 mile or a 3 minute drive in south direction.

It's a very nice modern market with a good selection. We always use this Publix when we stay on Treasure Island (looking forward to next time starting on Dec. 22nd)

If you have an interest in traditional fare for Christmas dinner, we would recommend the Don Cesar Resort restaurants. It's 15 minutes south of Sunset Vistas on St. Pete beach. Both restaurants offer buffets. The Sea Porch is more relaxed Florida holiday casual. loewshotels.com/en/…restaurants

If you want beach casual, go to the open air bar and grill on Sunset Beach called Caddy's. It is about 5 minutes south of Sunset Vistas. Their menu is limited to burgers, hot dogs etc.. The food is nothing special, but the drinks are great and the view is amazing. Y

Avoid Hurricanes on Pass-A-Grill and Spinners on St. Pete Beach.

If you want to pick up groceries on your way to Sunset Vistas take a left off of Central onto Gulf Blvd and Publix is two blocks down on your left.

We've stayed at Sunset Vistas a half dozen times and it' a great property. There are water sport activities / rentals just north of you at John's Pass but the real attraction on Treasure Island is the beach.

Enjoy. Happy Holidays.
