Starbucks or other good coffee recommendation

We are staying in a condo up in the north end of Vero Beach (John's Island) and are wondering where the closest place to get a decent cup of coffee in the morning would be. We were hoping not to have to drive back into the city or main area of the beach, but can't seem to find anything else. Anyone know of anything we are missing? Thanks.

You're in an area that's deliberately bare of commercial activity, other than The Village Shops in Indian River Shores and the 7-Eleven, drug store, and upscale convenience/grocery store to the south (or north to the pizza place next to Wabasso Park). Farther south, Seaside Grill at Jaycee Park might do coffee decently. They have a history of serving local citrus juices. We don't have a Starbucks other than at Target, and local coffee places have tended not to fare well.

I haven't looked at The Village Shops since the center was sold last June and the new owner raised rents, causing a big turnover of businesses.

Its only about a 10 minute drive south to the shops on Ocean Drive. Try the Lemon Tree which is popular for breakfast. i can't speak for the coffee but it may work for you. You also have Disneys Vero Beach resort about 15 minutes north which has a breakfast cafe. As blue said you are staying in an area that does not want commercial businesses nearby. You might see if their clubhouse does breakfast. Across the causeway is a Too Jays Deli and I think also a bagel shop. Most everything else is on US1 or in west vero unfortunately.

My understanding is that Maison Martinique is actually a licensed Starbucks account username give it a try. By the way the suggestion to use the lemon tree was a good one as well as the southern sisters over on US one across from the Sebastian Park.
