Help with Areas

We will be returning to Fort Lauderdale post cruise and have few days to spend before flying home from Miami. We have been to Miami and Fort Lauderdale before so were looking for somewhere new to go for three days. Looking at West Palm Beach or Boca Raton. Although we will have a car we like to be able to walk to shops and restaurants from our hotel in the evening. Can anyone give some pointers please.

Take a look at Lauderdale by the Sea. It's walkable.

I highly recommend that you look in to the Delray Beach area. It has everything you are looking for, and is just one town north of Boca Raton. Have fun.

Stay in West Palm at the Marriott Residence Inn. Very short walk to CityPlace, which is loaded with bars an restaurants. Free concerts on Fridays and Saturdays. You're also able to walk to clematis St., which is the city hotspot. You can also stay at the Hyatt Place which is closer to Clematis. You could Go to McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary, the boranical gardens, Lion Country Safari and airboat rides. We also have the Norton art Museum and Sculpture Garden, Palm beach Zoo, Palm Beach itself, and science museum.

You do know Hibiscus is a B&B not a hotel and not all the rooms have private bathroom facilities?

May not matter to you, but didn't want you to arrive without knowing....

We booked with Grandview Gardens, considerably cheaper, though a bit longer walk. We don’t mind the walk.
