I have no idea if this is allowed or not=), but ANYWAY if you order lunch and a few drinks etc...., we have never had a problem hanging at any of the resorts on Singer Island. The only one I am uncertain about is the Resort though. We go to the Palm Beach Shores Resort(it is a tiemhsare place) regurally and hang out by the pool, have lunch etc....
The Resort does not allow this nor does the Marriott Ocean Pointe. You can try the Hilton on Singer Island. They have an outdoor bar/restaurant and you can rent beach chairs out front on the beach for I think about $20 per day for 2 w/ umbrella while they don't object to your using the pool, you should not use chaises that are there for guest use only. The same is true at aforementioned Palm Beach Shores Resort. Rent the beach cabana for the day, enjoy a great lunch at the Tiki Restaurant, use the rest rooms and enjoy the pool. If you are not a paying guest or time share owner there you should not use the limited chaises around the pool. Parking will run about $10 at the Hilton if you are not staying there, complimentary valet at PB Shores Resort so long as you do patronize the Tiki Restaurant for a meal (we enjoy the dolphin-mahi-caesar salad and grilled mahi sandwich).
