Playgrounds around Gettysburg Lane?

This winter we might travel with our 3 year old to West Palm Beach, we will be staying with friends who live at Gettysburg Lane for two weeks.

Where can we find playgrounds that are open to the public and are in good condition and in a safe area?

You will be in an area referred to as "the villages". There are small parks and playgrounds, pools etc throughout the different neighborhoods there. Nearby downtown WPB has a nice fountain/playarea with a good pizza place and ice cream parlor across the street. Of course there are the beaches and the little one would enjoy nearby Lion Country Safari.

Are the playgrounds in the Villages open to the public or would we be trespassing if we use them?

your friends will no doubt have the answer to that. I think 3 of the pools/parks are open to all residents of the villages. Any gated communities in the area can have their own pool for the exclusive use of that community.
