What would you like to do? Hiking, camping, zip lines, eating, antique markets, fishing, mountain sightseeing drives, or just setting at your cabin in the woods and watch the wildlife, mountain streams or vista mountain views. Have chef Douglas come to your cabin and prepare a gourmet meal for two. Prepare your own gourmet meal for your girlfriend. Yard sales, flea markets, auctions. My wife and I just love driving down the mountain roads with no map. Get to the end and turn around and come back. Trust me, you will not see the same thing twice.

I would visit Amicalola Falls.

Visit downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge for shopping. A nice drive west of Ellijay is highway 52. Some nice mountain views.

Visit Mercier Orchard in Blue Ridge. Get a hot apple or peach pie there. Yummy!

In "downtown" Ellijay, the old town, which is just a little ways off of 515, there are antique stores and shops with collectibles. I'm not much for buying things but they're fun to look through and I've done it with my companion on a few occasions. Very walkable and with food available as well.
