Welcome to Trip Advisor!

Are you planning to come across I80 and then up 191 to Jackson, then over Teton Pass to Driggs? If so, the bulk of your trip will be in Wyoming, so you might want to ask on the Wyoming forum.

Also, I guess I am wondering if you plan to do this in one day because it's a heck of a long drive which won't leave you much time to stop and see anything.

I'm assuming you will do Jackson and Grand Tetons while you are in Driggs?

Hi Pam. Thanks for your reply. We haven't really decided our route yet, but I think you are correct that I should post this on the Wyoming forum. We do plan on doing this in one day so I'm sure our day will be long but we don't mind. The Tetons are definitely on our to see list, not too sure about Jackson.

If you are doing it in one day, you really are not going to have time to stop and see anything but a few gas stations and some restrooms, lol. Googlemaps gives it 541 miles and they estimate a drive time of 8h 43mins. That does not count any stops for food or fuel. Your last 200 miles or so will be on 2 lane road.

If you do post on the Wyoming forum, it will be helpful to add that you plan to do this in one day.
