Staying north of the loop, any recommendations for reasonably priced gifts/souvenirs? Tia!

Walgreens and CVS will have your basic tshirts, keychains. Navy Pier also has a number of stores/kiosks with souvenirs. The museums, particularly the Art Institute, has some lovely, but more expensive, Chicago inspired souvenirs. For more modern, but reasonable priced souvenirs, Bye Bye Chicago has numerous shops along Michigan Avenue. http://www.byebyestores.com/chicago/

In addition to the AIC gift shop, the Chicago Architecture Foundation shop at 224 S. Michigan Ave has good souvenirs.
