Visiting Willis (Sears) Tower

We are coming up next weekend, would it be better to visit Willis Tower on a Friday afternoon about 3 pm or Saturday morning as soon as they open?

Also we want to shop on the Mile, so we plan on parking there on Friday afternoon, if we decided to visit the tower on Friday is it safe to take the bus there?

Also Friday night we are debating ESPNZone or Ed Devebic's for dinner, which one is better. We will have (3) 12 year old boys.

Thanks all

I would let the weather decide when to visit Willis. If it's cloudy out, there no sense in spending the money on either day. Friday afternoon might be a little less crowded.

Park at - http://www.millenniumgarages.com/ - yes it's safe to take a bus or train downtown.

Of your two dinner choices, ESPNZone is the better option.

This may not be the best weekend for visiting the Skydeck. Looks like we will have cloudy conditions and likely snow most of the weekend.

Friday many workers take half days and stuff so congestion won't be too bad either day, if you want less going on saturday would be good as the loop is dead on weekends and after business hours.

As for restaurants espn zone will have more games and stuff for the kids but espn zone is also just so commercial you could find one in many malls across the country, ed dbevics would be more unique more a chicago experience, your kids might like how the waitresses are rude to you.
