Polish community in Chicago

I plan to bring a group of 30 Polish to Chicago for 2 days in August. The first day we plan to spend downtown. The 2nd day I would like to take them to the Polish community. I plan to visit Holy Trinity and eat lunch at Red Apple buffet. What else would they enjoy seeing before they return to Poland?

Wouldn't they be tired of polish things? Only two days in Chicago-- I would do more Chicago type things.

That would be like going to Warsaw and eating at McDonalds. Find something American for them to do. This is a call for deep dish pizza, hot dogs, Michigan Ave., Millennium Park, a ride on the elevated, the Hancock or Willis Tower. They cannot get Polish in Poland. Have you hired a bus to get them around town?

Mmm. I like the Red Apple. Haven't been there in a while. However, as Shallow Shoals said, unless you're specifically looking for Polish neighborhood things to do, there's certainly nothing wrong with all the usual Chicago tourist attractions

I've never been, but I drive by the Polish community center all the time and they are always advertising various activities.

Here's the taste of polonia festival in late August if that happens to be when you'll be here.

In general, if you start at the copernicus center and go south on Milwaukee, you're going through the heart of Chicago's polish neighborhood.
