You're supposed to know these things msm. How about the Waldorf Astoria or the Drake?

I prefer the Conrad. The Drake has old school Chicago charm but I find the rooms to be very old and outdated. The Conrad will most likely be less expensive.

Not sure how many points you have but the Princess Diana suite at the Drake is "wedding worthy"...views of Oak street, of course, large, gorgeous....

It depends if your friends are old world romantics or West Elm modern. Traditionalist go to the Drake; sleek and modern go to the Conrad. I'd weigh in the neighborhoods too. Tourist central vs Gold Coast.

Where is the wedding/reception? What about those that cost less in points? There are two Embassy Suites downtown as well as Hampton Inn, maybe a Doubletree too.

Feel the Drake is just way overrated. Out of town guests disappointed.

The Palmer House is a very nice Hilton to stay at with a nice executive lounge. You might want to look into it. I've never stayed there myself (as I live in Chicago), but have had friends with Hilton Honors stay there and they have been very happy.
