Transit Passes? Pace?

We are going to be in Chicago for 5 days and doing all the touristy stuff and staying in the River North area. I'm looking at 7 day transit passes but there are two options. One includes Pace, but the other doesn't. The one with Pace is $5 more. Which one do we need? The. Furthest we plan to go is to a Cubs and White Sox game. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

You don't need Pace if you are staying in the city. Pace is the suburban bus system.

Can you get to and from O'Hare to downtown without Pace? We are heading to Chicago in two weeks - first visit! We too plan to take in a ball game.
