Looking for a place to throw a outdoor party

I am trying to plan a party for about 200 people in Chicago. The theme is a Luau out and we will be grilling a pig for food. We did last year at a house and it worked out really well unfornately my friends don't live there any more.

So now I am looking to rent a place out for this party. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Cafe Brauer in the Lincoln Park Zoo may be similar to what you are looking for.

Another idea: Just get a permit and use the Forest Preserve.

a place like Life's Too Short @ Division + Elston might work really well for you.

Galleria Marchetti might be a good call, although, they are usually booked pretty solid, and you may have to use their catering service. Worth checking out though..

I really can't think of any other outdoor places that would suit 200+ people in the city.

Try the Chipp Inn or the Happy Village.

You can come to my house and throw it. I'll only charge you $300 for the use of my property for the day, and that includes use of the inground pool. I'll even set up a volleyball net, that is large enough to play professional games, and you could anything else you want.

Just kidding, Good Luck in finding a location. I really do have the space and the pool though. And have had large parties here. :-))

Does anyone out there have a bigger, more inground pool than deniseinindiana?

I didn't think so.

HOT in the City, you are so funny! I just saw this. I was out in my lovely pool, until it started raining. It was up to 88 degrees today, in the water again.

My darling and I left and went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was so good! I tried the Orange Chicken for the 1st time. It was heavenly. Way too much though. We had to take 1/2 of our dinner home.
