Kid-friendly lunch/dinner spots near Deere Pavilion, Arsenal

Any recommendations for restaurants (prefer local, not chains) we can take our 11 year old grandson for lunch and dinner this weekend? We are staying at Stoney River and going to John Deere Pavilion and Arsenal Island. TGIF Fridays has been recommended but I think their food is too fatty! Wouldn't mind going across the river if there's something good there.

You need to visit the original Lagomarcino's in downtown Moline - small, but original from the 50's with the old-time soda fountain. (Good for lunch, not just ice cream.) Kids love it!

There's a number of decent restaurants near the hotel depending on your taste and budget. The area around Stoney Creek and JD Pavilion is very walkable. Skip TGI Fridays. Johnny's Italian Steakhouse, River House Bar & Grill to name a couple.

In Iowa, there's the Iowa Machine Shed - good food served family style. However, it's not handy for your location.

Cafe Fresh is my favorite downtown Moline restaurant, but Lagomarcino's is a Quad City tradition - both are good!
